The Waiting Game

It's like Russian Roulette on crack. 11 bullets, 11 possibilities, Two more months of waiting. What do I do while I wait for admissions decisions?

I check the Applying to Grad School community on Livejournal.

I obsess over Facebook. (Why did someone friend me then unfriend me five minutes later? Why?)

I don't write when I'm supposed to write or edit when I'm supposed to edit. That would be work. Work would be constructive. Constructivism is not allowed.

I eat ice cream with nonfat whipped topping (real dairy!). It's light ice cream, though. And I haven't been to the Chinese bakery in a few weeks. And Tim and I did walk to Del Amo yesterday. That's four miles, round trip.

Maybe I'll go for another walk...
