Rhisie's mother-in-law is in town, and her English is not so much. So, tonight at kickboxing, I was able to speak French with Romaine, and she was a very lovely lady. Luckily, my French is slightly better than la maman de Laurent's English, so we had a nice conversation about learning another language as an adult, how nice people are in South Bay, and what a wonderful person Rhisie is. Your mother in law really likes you, Rhisie. Just to let you know. She thinks you're very gentile.
Too bad that can't count as my foreign language exam for Binghamton. Bryan was willing to vouch for me to my adviser, but I told him it probably wouldn't count. In any case, it was nice practice.
