I have language dictionaries. Lots of them. Some are really old, that my great-uncle used when he was a spy in World War II. Some are part of the "Wicked Language" series: Wicked Irish, Wicked French... I have "Making Out in Japanese" I and II. And books on:
* Irish
* Maori
* Gypsy
* French
* Latin
* German
* Italian
* Japanese
* Old English/Anglo-Saxon
* Croatian
* Sindarin/Quenya/Dwarvish from Tolkien
Is Kara a language dork? Hell yeah. We won't go into all the books on King Arthur (twenty that I can find off the bat, not counting the fiction section...)
This is why it's hard for me to get rid of books. Because you never know when you might need one on something. And it's not like I can get rid of the Arthurian books, since that will be my PhD thesis. Besides, doesn't everyone need four versions of Beowulf?
...or not...
